HUMANIZED

Humanized is the solo project and vision of guitarist/songwriter Evan Le Comte, born in Hawkes Bay, New Zealand. Born in late 2018 Humanized mixes elements of Alternative/Indie rock acts like Asgeir, Radiohead and The Tea Party with a sophistication to structure and melody influenced by songwriting greats such as The Eagles, Pearl Jam and Devin Townsend.

In his early music career, Evan cut his teeth in the thriving local band scene until winning 'Most Original Act' at a Battle of the Bands competition. This fuelled his passion of being an original artist. Investing in his first home studio he started to focus on becoming a songwriter/producer.

Over the years, Evan has stayed true to his vision of conveying his personal stories about life, love, loss, human connection and the courageousness and resilience of the human spirit. His unique unapologetic approach to songwriting leaves the listener with these beautiful imperfect sonic tapestries that are bred from the deepest, darkest corners of Evan's soul. Humanized resonates with a earthly and primal honesty.

Humanized music is intergenerational.

In 2021 Humanized against all odds won a Major round RADF (Regional Artist Development Funding) grant to begin recording his debut E.P. 'The Art of Letting Go' due for a dual single and music video soft launch release on 25th June of 2022 and a major E.P. launch later in the year. This is to be followed up with two more E.P. releases 'Supernova' and 'Supernova II'
